Project Information
This project aims to demystify the very confusing mobile video streaming solutions. As many of you already know their is no real standard for mobile video streaming and what may work on one handset doesn’t on the other. So I feel the need to work though these issues as best as possible with community support and post my findings which will in turn hopefully help demystify mobile video streaming.
I plan to use all open source or commercial free software in my tests. I know their are commercial options and currently I haven’t had the time or money to test these out. Maybe as this project goes I can review these different packages and report back to the community.
I would like to state that my results and findings are my opinions based upon the test results I have and your results may vary from device to device. If we can all come together and share notes of what works then my goal is accomplished.
Of course non of this will be possible with out the support of the community from sharing knowledge to testing.
